Alexandria Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Alexandria, VA, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a PRN opportunity across all shifts with daily pay. The role involves direct resident care, medication administration, and collaboration with the care team in a 111-bed Sub-Acute and Long-Term Care facility.

The ideal candidate holds an active VA license and BLS certification, with the ability to manage care for multiple residents in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered VA RN license.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple residents in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care in accordance with standards and the plan of care.
• Follow and implement care plans developed by the Nurse Manager.
• Administer medications and treatments per the plan of care (POC).
• Monitor and assess residents’ conditions and report changes promptly to the clinical team.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation per orders and policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety standards, and nursing regulations.

$37- $46 an hour (all-inclusive)

Responsibilities for Registered Nurse (RN):

• Provide resident care in accordance with acceptable standards of nursing practice and the physician’s plan of treatment, as well as the written plan of care.

• Follow and implement care plans developed by the Nurse Manager.

• Perform medication administration and treatments in accordance with the plan of care (POC).

• Monitor and assess residents’ conditions, promptly reporting changes to appropriate clinical team members.

• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and regulatory standards.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and high-quality resident care.

• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, safety standards, and nursing regulations.

Qualifications for Registered Nurse (RN):

• A current, unencumbered active license to practice as an RN in the state of VA.

• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.

• Ability to manage care for multiple residents simultaneously in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
