Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join a multidisciplinary team in Edison, NJ. This per diem night-shift role focuses on comprehensive patient assessment, care coordination, and direct bedside care to improve outcomes.

Responsibilities include data collection, planning of care, implementing interventions, and ongoing communication with patients and families. Current NJ RN license and BLS required; BSN in progress welcomed; six months of nursing experience preferred;

Qualifications

• Associate in Nursing or diploma of Nursing degree required.
• BSN in progress or willingness to acquire within three years of hire.
• Six months of relevant nursing experience or participation in Hackensack Meridian Health's Nurse Residency Program.
• Current and valid Registered Nurse license in New Jersey.
• BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association required within 60 days of hire.

• Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status.
• Identify variables in patient/family education needs based on age and disease.

• Provide ongoing communication with patient/family and healthcare team.
• Implement age and disease-specific care in an organized manner.
• Perform continuous Point-of-Care electronic documentation.
• Administer medications utilizing advancements in bar-scanning technology.
