Qualifications

• BSN in progress or willingness to pursue within three years of hire.
• Six (6) or more months of relevant nursing experience OR participation in Nurse Residency Program.
• NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License and BLS/HealtH Care Life Support certification within 60 days of starting.

• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation.
• Perform age and disease specific assessment/data collection independently.
• Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status.
• Identify variables in patient/family education needs based on age and disease.
• Develop a plan of care that prescribes strategies and interventions.
• Formulate age and disease specific patient/family centered goals/outcomes.
• Communicate, coordinate, and implement the plan of care.
• Provide ongoing communication with patient/family and healthcare team.
• Implement age and disease specific care in an organized manner.
• Perform continuous Point-of-Care electronic documentation.
