Job summary

PPNNE in Burlington, VT is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct clinical services focused on reproductive health, contraception, and abortion care. The role includes supporting procedures, patient safety, and follow-up coordination in a fast-paced community health setting.

Qualifications

• RN with an Associate's degree (or equivalent) and up to 1 year of clinical experience.
• BLS certification required.
• Outpatient procedural care knowledge (abortion, colposcopy, vasectomy).
• Experience with labs (urinalysis, venipuncture, IV placement) and aseptic technique.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered reproductive health services with cultural sensitivity.
• Educate patients on birth control, pregnancy options, and well-being.
• Assist with abortion, contraception, ultrasounds, and labs, ensuring safety.
• Document care in electronic health records and manage follow-up.
• Collaborate with clinicians and staff to coordinate care and referrals.
• Participate in on-call support (4 weeks per year) with additional compensation.
