Job description

GENERAL SUMMARY:

• Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.
• Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.
• Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team.
• Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.
• RN must provide 6 shifts of availability in a 6-week schedule. Three of those shifts must be on weekends.
• RN will rotate between pre op and pacu.
• Shifts are 5:30am - 4:00pm and 9:00am - 7:30pm.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing.
• Previous 1-2 years recent related clinical nursing experience and a demonstrated level of performance and practice required.
• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
• One year ED, ICU or acute care setting PACU preferred.
