Qualifications

• A minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing is required.
• A Bachelors of Science in Nursing is strongly preferred.
• One (1) or more years* experience as a Registered Nurse required.
• Current Georgia license as a Registered Professional Nurse required.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) health care provider card required.
• ACLS Certification required for all the following areas. New Graduates must obtain within 90 days of employment: All Critical Care, Emergency Care Center (ECC), GI/Cath Laboratory, Labor & Delivery, All Intermediate Care, Post Acute Care Unit (PACU).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care across settings and among caregivers to assure continuity of care.
• Educate patients and their families about healthy practices and treatment modalities.
