Role Responsibilities

The Rapid Response Nurse utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, responding to rapid response calls, codes, and supporting adult inpatient needs, including critically ill patients and transfers to ICU.

Qualifications
  • Kansas RN License
  • BCLS certification (American Heart Association)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or within 4 years of employment
  • 3-5 years Critical Care RN experience
  • ACLS certification
  • NIHSS certification
