Registered Nurse - Radiology (Hiring Immediately)

Position Overview

Greater than one year of experience as an RN is required. Previous experience in Radiology is preferred. The schedule for this position is Monday through Thursday, 8am-5:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Administer IV sedation or analgesia during special procedures.
• Monitor vital signs, including ECG rhythms and pulse oximeters, and pacemaker monitoring during MRI scans.
• Care for patients receiving nuclear medicine treatment.
• Manage labs, medications, and pre/post intervention phone calls.
• Assist with patient transport from inpatient settings and emergency situations.
• Care for pediatric patients and those needing sedation with anesthesiologist assistance.
• Contribute to policy writing, develop flowsheets, patient instruction sheets, and protocols.
• Routine tasks such as starting or checking peripheral IVs, assessing/de-accessing infusaports, suctioning patients, inserting in-dwelling catheters, and assisting with personal needs.

Additional Details

On-call: Not Required.

Incentives: $10K RN Sign-on Bonus for full-time (pro-rated for part-time).
