We are offering a sign-on bonus of $10,000 for new hire Staff Nurse, Night shift only. The first half is paid at 6 months and the second half at one year of employment.

This position is eligible for:

• $3.00/hr. Charge Pay
• $2,000/yr. RN Loan Repayment

Job Summary: Provides direct patient care based on ANA Standards of Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing, Butler Hospital policies and procedures, and the RI Nurse Practice Act.

Participates in treatment planning to coordinate management of medical and nursing care and discharge planning for patients.

Coordinates psychiatric and/or medical emergencies to ensure proper care for individuals in crisis and the safety of all patients.

Participates as an active team member by assisting other staff and accepting additional assignments to complete essential patient care and unit responsibilities.

Administers medications with knowledge of action, mode of administration, side effects, and contraindications.

Assumes the role of Charge Nurse for the shift.

Requirements: Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

Training and Experience: Current RI nursing license.

Special Qualifications: B.S.N. preferred.

Schedule: 20/40 Part-Time Nights - Every Other Weekend
