Job Summary and Qualifications

Provides leadership to facilitate professional nursing care, ensuring patient comfort and well-being. Uses the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to deliver, delegate, supervise, and document care and education for patients and families. Implements medically prescribed interventions.

Qualifications

• Preferred: One year hospital nursing experience.
• Required Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enrollment in a BSN or higher degree program with an intent to obtain a BSN within 5 years of hire. Exemptions and extensions may be approved by the facility CNO.
• Required License/Certifications: Current RN licensure with the North Carolina Board of Nursing; eNLC license may apply.
• Certification: BLS Healthcare Provider.
