Job summary

Oceans Behavioral Hospital Longview is seeking a Registered Nurse to lead patient care across behavioral health units. The RN will assess, plan and direct nursing activities consistent with policy and patient needs in a psychiatric setting.

Responsibilities include medication administration, patient education, and accurate documentation. The role may involve float duties and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, quality care for adults and seniors.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in good standing.
• Psychiatric nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient using the nursing process to develop an individualized plan of care.
• Administer medications as prescribed and educate patients on prescribed meds.
• Document patient symptoms, responses and progress accurately in medical records.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure continuity of care and patient safety.
• Float among clinical services as needed and support staff as required.
