Job Responsibilities

Provides professional nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards and practices. Duties include assessment of patients, developing and implementing care plans, and evaluating patient progress. The role requires delivering high-quality care to meet the Hospital's core mission.

General Requirements

• Adheres to hospital and departmental attendance and punctuality guidelines
• Aligns all responsibilities with the organization's core values, mission, and vision
• Completes all job functions as per departmental policies and procedures
• Maintains current knowledge through self-education and ongoing training
• Attends staff meetings, mandatory in-services, and competency evaluations on time
• Demonstrates competency in providing age-appropriate patient care and customer service skills
• Wears protective clothing and equipment as appropriate

Working Conditions

• Works in a well-lit, air-conditioned environment with moderate noise levels
• May be exposed to high noise levels, bright lights, hazardous substances, body fluids, or infectious organisms
• May experience periods of high stress and fluctuating workloads, including overtime as needed

Qualifications

Education Requirements

• Associate Degree in Nursing (Required)
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Preferred)

Experience Requirements

• 1-2 years of nursing experience (Preferred)

Certifications and Licenses

• Current Georgia RN license
• ACLS certification prior to completing orientation
