• Licenses required: RN (Compact Accepted), BLS-AHA certification.

Level 1 Trauma Center
Teaching Hospital

Nurses for this unit need Med Surg experience, as this floor has inpatients pre- or post-surgical services. Most of the experience needed is surgical.
4E candidates will care for patients post-operatively and need experience with new drains, wounds, trachs, ostomies, NGT, or DHT. Some patients will require Step down care. Ratios are 5:1 or 5:1 for surgical patients and 3:1 for the Step Down (SD) area.
4W is our surgical transplant area, also with Step down and post-op patients. These patients are new or returning transplant patients, requiring close monitoring for reaction, rejection, and infection.

REQUIREMENTS

Registered Nurse, PCU
Experience: 1 year
Licenses: RN (Compact Accepted, copy needed)
Certifications: BLS-AHA (copy needed)
SSN required
DOB required
References: 1 reference covering entire work history
ASN degree

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Experience in ENT and/or Transplant preferred
