Saint Luke's is expanding its Progressive Care Unit in Overland Park, KS, offering a 36-hour week night shift on a brand-new unit equipped with leading technology and renovated patient rooms.

We seek a positive, team-oriented Registered Nurse passionate about patient-centered care and eager to grow skills in a varied clinical setting. The unit handles diverse conditions with emphasis on cardiovascular care, emphasizing collaboration and professional development.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with PCU3 experience or intent to work in progressive care.
• Less than 1 year of nursing experience.
• Basic Life Support certification from American Heart Association or Red Cross; RN licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care in a brand-new Progressive Care Unit.
• Collaborate with a strong team to deliver high-quality nursing care.
• Rotate weekends and holidays as part of the night-shift schedule.

Due to the recent growth at this location we have recently expanded our PCU services to meet the demands of our patients and community. We are looking for positive nurses who enjoy working with a team, passionate about helping others expand their skill sets, patient centered and needs variety in their day to be satisfied in their work. This team builds on each other’s strengths and works together to help each grow their nursing skills; while keeping the patient first and providing exceptional care. These units will see a variety of patient conditions and treatments with an average stay of 3 to 4 days. These Progressive Care Units are cardiac focused, but not specialized.
