HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital in Hudson, FL is seeking a Progressive Care Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a high-acuity setting. You will collaborate with physicians and care teams to support pre- and post-operative patients and advocate for an excellent patient experience.

Requirements include Florida RN licensure (or compact with active FL license within 60 days), Nursing Diploma or ASN (BSN preferred), and AHA BLS.

Qualifications

• Florida RN license or compact license with active FL license within 60 days of hire
• Nursing Diploma or ASN; BSN preferred
• Previous experience in an acute care setting strongly preferred
• Current American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate the care of Progressive Care Unit patients.
• Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
• Maintain and review patients’ records including posting tests and examination results.
• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Progressive Care Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care. In collaboration with medical providers, the RN provides pre-operative and post-operative nursing care. The RN serves as an advocate for patients to support an unparalleled patient experience.

We are seeking a Progressive Care Registered Nurse. You will provide clinical expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care in a high acuity environment. Requirements

• Licensure as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure. If compact license held, active FL RN license required within 60 days of hire.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Previous experience in an acute care setting strongly preferred.
• Current American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
