Supports patient care, collaborates with interprofessional teams, individualizes care plans, performs intravenous insertions (peripheral and central lines), utilizes ultrasound and infusion equipment, interprets policies and lab results, monitors patient condition, and documents using electronic health records.
Graduate of an accredited nursing program, with at least two years of RN experience. Must hold valid licensure and BLS certification for the respective state.
Proficient in vascular access procedures, equipment use, patient communication, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Establish and manage mid to long-term vascular access devices, support patient education, and respond to patient needs, ensuring safety and quality care.
Additional requirements include physical ability to perform clinical duties and familiarity with systems like Sherlock for PICC and ML placements.
