Applies the nursing process to plan and manage the care of complex patients in a comprehensive manner. Recognizes complex learning needs and prepares individual teaching plans for patients/families and consistently demonstrates effective patient education to peers. Consistently ensures a comprehensive continuum of care plan in collaboration with the health care team. Demonstrates and role models effective communication and conflict resolution skills. Ensures evidence-based care and continuously monitors patient outcomes. Floats across entities to fulfill requirements of the role.
Premium Pay $65/hr. Medical Insurance benefits are NOT offered. Work on Per Diem assignments. Must work 432 hours in a calendar year (Maximum of 1560 hours per year).
VUH and at least one regional entity (VBCH, VTHH, VWCH).
Adult inpatient setting (ICU, Stepdown, and/or Med‑Surg).
Will vary based on weekly board posting.
