Job summary

Sarasota Memorial Health Care System in Florida seeks a registered nurse to provide professional nursing care to patients and families in an acute clinical environment, guided by our nursing practice model and ANA standards. You will evaluate patient needs, develop care plans, administer treatments, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high‑quality care.

A BSN is preferred for new hires; graduates of accredited programs are welcome to apply; Florida RN license and BLS

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN required for new hires after 2012 within specified timeframe.
• Basic working knowledge of commonly used computer applications.

Job Summary

Required Qualifications

• Require graduate of an accredited school of nursing or a diploma program. For new hires after 2012, Bachelor of Science Degree in nursing (BSN) is required within specified timeframe as outlined in the New Hire BSN Agreement policy (126.045).
• Require basic working knowledge of commonly used computer applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prefer certification in nursing specialty area.
