Job summary

The Sarasota Memorial Health Care System in Venice, FL is seeking a registered nurse to provide professional care in an acute clinical setting, aligned with our nursing practice model and the ANA standards.

Responsibilities include assessing patients, coordinating care with families, and maintaining compliance with certification requirements and hospital policies. This full-time position requires flexibility for varied shifts and a commitment to high-quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Require basic working knowledge of commonly used computer applications.
• Require graduate of an accredited school of nursing or a diploma program. For new hires after 2012, Bachelor of Science Degree in nursing (BSN) is required within specified timeframe as outlined in the New Hire BSN Agreement policy (126.045).
• Requires Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within 90 days of hire.
• Requires Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 120 days of hire.
• Requires any OB/Neonatal Certifications obtained during employment will be maintained during the remainder of employment. These include but are not limited to: Electronic Fetal Monitoring Certification, Maternal-Newborn Nursing Certification, Low Risk Neonatal Certification, any Lactation Certification.

Required Qualifications
