Job summary

BrightStar Care is seeking an experienced Home Infusion Nurse to lead the growth of our Home Infusion business. This per-diem role offers flexibility to work around another job or personal commitments, collaborating with National Account partners and Care Managers to ensure high-quality in-home care.

The nurse will oversee care delivery within the Plan of Care, monitor patient conditions, and maintain accurate clinical records while upholding regulatory compliance and patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of clinical experience, with at least one year in a home health agency or related setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, NLN-accredited program preferred.
• Current unrestricted RN license in the state where care is provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform care as defined by client’s Plan of Care and within state nurse practice act.
• Monitor patient conditions and promptly report any changes.
• Provide infusion services requiring substantial and specialized nursing skill.
• Maintain clinical records in compliance with local, state and federal laws.
• Counsel the client and family in meeting nursing and related needs.

Position Summary

We are actively looking to welcome an experienced Home Infusion Nurse into our family to lead the growth and development of our Home Infusion business. Working closely with our National Account partners and Care Managers this position will be Per-Diem with a high level of flexibility to work around another job or personal commitments. Responsible for quality, adequacy of services provided and may, where required, supervise staff. The Infusion Nurse is responsible for ensuring that care is delivered appropriately and the standards of quality are adhered to. Key Responsibilities

• Perform care as defined by client’s individual Plan of Care and within scope of state’s nurse practice act
• Monitor patient’s condition and notify appropriate personnel of any changes
• Provide those services requiring substantial and specialized nursing skill
• Assures proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state and federal laws
• Counsels the client and family in meeting nursing and related needs

Salary / Pay Range

• $42-$50 / per hour

Required Qualifications

• Experience: Three (3) + years of clinical experience with one (1) year experience in a home health agency, primary care clinic or health facility, preferred.
• Education:Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. Must have graduated from a National League of Nursing accredited program
• Licenses / Certifications (if applicable): Current unrestricted RN license in state for which care is being provided
• Skills: Prior experience with Peripheral IV starts/maintenance & IV Infusion Therapy (CRNI, OCN preferred)
• Other Requirements:
• Clean background and criminal record
• Understands regulatory compliance with state and federal regulations
• Adhere to HIPAA and maintain client confidentiality
• Reliable car/auto insurance
