Highlands-Cashiers Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Registered Nurse for PRN opportunities. You will lead the delivery of professional nursing care, using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and teach families.

Required qualifications include an Associate of Science in Nursing, NC Board of Nursing licensure (eNLC may apply), BLS certification, and at least one year of hospital nursing experience.

• RN must be licensed and in good standing with the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
• eNLC license may apply; verify with NCBON.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification required.
• One year of hospital nursing experience.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Provides leadership which facilitates the delivery of professional nursing care for the comfort and well-being of patients. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Implements medically prescribed interventions.

What qualifications you will need:

• Education:Associate of Science in Nursing
• License:Must have and maintain current licensure as registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. eNLC (Enhanced Nurse License Compact) license may apply, licensee should confirm with NCBON Registered Nurse must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Certification:BLS Healthcare Provider
• Experience: One year hospital nursing experience
