Job summary

North Shore Healthcare in Shawano, WI seeks a Registered Nurse (PRN) for extra income. You will provide nursing care to residents, assess and modify plans of care, and supervise aides under the Unit Manager and ADON/DON.

Position requires 3 shifts of 8 hours per week minimum, up to 10 shifts monthly, with summer and winter holidays. Valid RN license in Wisconsin and CPR certification are required; English proficiency and basic computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in the State of Wisconsin with current CPR certification.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Demonstrated basic computer knowledge and aptitude to learn systems.
• Ability to relate positively with residents, families, staff.
• Experience in post-acute or skilled nursing setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to a group of residents per shift under supervision.
• Assess, implement and evaluate the plan of care for residents.
• Adhere to standards of care and ensure resident safety.
• Supervise nursing aides and helpers; follow policies and procedures.
• Perform duties per State Nurse Practice Act and applicable standards.
