Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our behavioral health team in Texas. You will deliver and supervise nursing care, plan and coordinate patient care, and participate in interdisciplinary planning on the unit.

Requirements include current RN licensure, BLS certification, and crisis management certification. PRN availability includes weekends and major holidays; inpatient behavioral health experience is preferred but not required, with 6–8 shifts monthly depending on tier.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process while delivering, directing, and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit.

• Provide patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization.
• Access community resources.
• Work under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer or House Supervisor.

• Tier 2 PRN: provide 6 shift availability per month
• Tier 3 PRN: provide 8 shift availability per month
• PRN availability must include 1 full weekend per month, 2 major holidays, and 1 minor holiday
