Job summary

Transylvania Regional Hospital, part of the HCA Healthcare family, invites qualified Registered Nurses to join as PRN staff in Brevard, NC. The role emphasizes leadership to deliver high-quality nursing care, using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document care for patients and families.

Requirements include an ADN or BSN, NC licensing (eNLC possible), BLS certification, and at least one year of hospital nursing experience.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in North Carolina (NC BON) required.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification required.
• Minimum 1 year hospital nursing experience.
• Education: Associate's degree or BSN in nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide, delegate, supervise and document professional nursing care.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Provides leadership which facilitates the delivery of professional nursing care for the comfort and well-being of patients. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Implements medically prescribed interventions.

What qualifications you will need:

• Education: Associate's Degree or Bachelor of Science in Nursing

• License: Must have and maintain current licensure as registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. eNLC (Enhanced Nurse License Compact) license may apply, licensee should confirm with NCBON Registered Nurse must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

• Certification: BLS Healthcare Provider

• Experience: One year hospital nursing experience
