Job summary

Palm Point Behavioral Health, affiliated with Universal Health Services, is seeking a Per Diem (PRN) Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Titusville, Florida. Shifts are 12 hours, 7AM-7PM or 7PM-7AM, providing inpatient psychiatric care for adults, children and adolescents in a 74-bed facility.

The role requires active Florida RN licensure, CPR/First Aid certification, and preferred experience in psychiatric inpatient settings. Competitive benefits are offered with UHS family support.

Qualifications

• Current Florida nursing licensure.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification.
• Preferred one year of experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Document and reassess any significant changes in the patient's condition in compliance with facility policy.
• Prioritize and formulate a plan of care based on patient assessment and according to policy.
• Prescribe and coordinate nursing care to patients, during episode of care.
• Comply with established measures for infection control, OSHA regulations, and risk management.
