Job summary

Pawnee Nation Behavioral Health in Pawnee, Oklahoma is seeking a Registered Nurse for night shifts to deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced recovery setting. You will manage intake, monitor vitals, and support MAT-related nursing tasks within both inpatient and outpatient services.

The ideal candidate demonstrates decisiveness, collaboration, and a patient-centered approach while adapting to a dynamic environment with rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• Current Oklahoma LPN or RN license (or ability to obtain).
• Experience in behavioral health, detox, or addiction treatment preferred.
• Familiarity with Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) is a plus.
• Strong communication, triage, and time-management skills.
• Must obtain First Aid & CPR certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Own the patient intake process: Conduct focused assessments, collect vitals, and complete drug screenings quickly and thoroughly.
• Generate and audit Medication Administration Records (MARs); support MAT protocols and medication education.
• Flex between patient care and light administrative tasks, assisting wherever needed to keep operations running.
• Monitor patient progress and flag concerns early. Your urgency and follow-up matter.
• Lead with clarity, action, and consistency to a multidisciplinary care team focused on outcomes.

Pawnee Nation Behavioral Health is changing the landscape of substance use treatment. Our new, cutting-edge recovery center is open in Pawnee, Oklahoma, delivering both inpatient and outpatient services with one mission: to empower recovery through action, compassion, and innovation.

SHIFT OPTIONS

We offer a 3-day workweek with 12-hour shifts, giving you more flexibility and focus.

• Night Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
• Rotating Weekends Required
• PRN options available

WHAT YOU'LL DO

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in behavioral health, detox, or addiction treatment strongly preferred
• Familiarity with Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) is a plus

• Must obtain First Aid & CPR certification within 30 days of hire

THE DETAILS

• Work Environment: Indoors, fast-paced, mission-driven
• Physical Requirements: Regular movement, occasional lifting (up to 50 lbs)
• Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts per week, Day or Night shifts with rotating weekends
