Job summary

Ernest Health, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse for PRN shifts at New Braunfels Regional Rehabilitation Hospital in New Braunfels, Texas.

The RN will provide professional nursing care, perform patient assessments, plan and implement interventions, and support patients in regaining strength after strokes, brain or spinal injuries, and complex surgeries. This role requires current RN licensure in Texas, CPR certification, and adherence to infection control and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of accredited Registered Nursing program required.
• Current state license as a Registered Nurse required.
• Current CPR Certification required.
• One year recent experience preferred. Acute care setting preferred.
• ACLS certification preferred in LTACH and Texas hospitals.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care to patients within assigned unit. The role is also responsible for patient assessments, planning, supervising, interventions, and evaluations designed to prevent complications of physical disability, restore optimal functioning, and help the patient adapt to an altered life style.
