Job summary

Dayton is seeking a compassionate, organized RN to join our home health team on a PRN basis. You will oversee client care, perform nursing assessments, supervise aides, and support VA/Medicaid clients in the home setting.

The ideal candidate will have an RN license, home care experience, and a valid driver's license with reliable transportation. BSN is preferred, and CEU maintenance is required.

Qualifications

• Current RN license is required.
• BSN preferred but not required.
• Home care experience is required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with auto insurance are required.
• Must maintain CEU requirements as required by the Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Complete nursing assessments, reassessments, observations, and care planning documentation.
• Reassess VA clients every 60 days or as needed.
• Develop and update individualized care plans based on client needs.
• Coordinate with management regarding quality client care and procedures.
• Supervise and mentor nursing assistants and caregivers.
• Respond to client complaints regarding caregivers in a professional manner.
• Ensure patient rights are protected and upheld.
• Promote safety procedures in the home environment.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional nursing standards.

Qualifications
