RN Private Duty Nurse

Registered Nurse - Private Duty Shift work, PRN

Cases available in Orange and Branford areas plus surrounding towns.
Also, various locations and shifts available in CT - ask about what's close to your home!

Job Responsibilities:

• Providing quality, comprehensive nursing care in the client’s home under the direction of a registered nurse.
• Participating in the development of the care plan with other team members and reporting to the Field Nursing Supervisors.
• Providing health education to patients and/or caregivers.
• Accepting and documenting verbal and written orders from physicians, with co-signature from the RN Case Manager.
• Following up with physicians, clients, families, and staff regarding client issues and reporting condition changes to the physician.
• Completing accurate and timely documentation of care provided.

Requirements:

• Active nurse license in Connecticut or a valid compact license.
• Minimum 6 months RN Pediatric experience is preferred.
• Home Health experience is preferred.
• Reliable transportation.
• Dedication to quality patient care.

You will report to the Clinical Team Manager.
