Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our home-based care team in Elizabethtown, KY. You will provide one-on-one skilled nursing care in patients' homes with shifts typically ranging from 8 to 12 hours, depending on patient needs.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state where you practice.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility RN contract or state regulation).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care using the nursing process.
• Initiates the plan of care and requests revisions from the prescriber as patient needs change.
• Incorporates therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on diagnosis and goals.
• Intervenes for changes in patient condition and reports to physician or supervisor.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed; monitors and documents effectiveness.
• Reviews plans of care and identifies education, care coordination, and discharge planning needs.

Maxim Healthcare is actively hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) in Elizabethtown, KY to join our growing team.

In this role, you'll provide one-on-one skilled nursing care in the comfort of your patient's home. Shifts typically range from 8 to 12 hours, depending on patient needs. Assignments may include pediatric or adult patients.

Pay is based on relevant experience and shift type (e.g., day, evening, night).

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient/client care and/or services provided to client(s) receiving contracted services, as required.
• Initiates the plan of care when directed and requests any necessary revisions from the prescriber as the patient's status and needs change.
• Incorporates therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and established goals.
• Intervenes as applicable in response to changes in patient/client condition and reports such changes to the appropriate physician or supervisor.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed and monitors and documents the effectiveness of interventions.
• Reviews plan of care and program protocols and identifies areas for healthcare teaching/education, care coordination, goal setting, and discharge planning needs, as applicable.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state in which the nurse practices.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility Registered Nurse (RN) contract or state regulation).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred.
