Job summary

IU Health in Muncie is seeking an RN with at least one year of experience to join the Primary Care Clinic at Ball State University Health Center. You will deliver patient-centered outpatient care as part of a collaborative team, supporting preventive services and building long-term relationships with patients.

Qualifications

• Requires an ASN; BSN preferred.
• Requires an active RN license in Indiana or an active NLC RN license.
• Requires graduation from a nationally accredited nursing program; exceptions may apply with >2 years of relevant clinical experience.
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA; other advanced life support certifications may be required.

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered outpatient care in a collaborative setting.

• Work closely with a dedicated care team and 10 providers to improve community health.

Qualifications:

• Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
• Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. Exceptions: Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of relevant clinical experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
• May require ability to assess patients without face-to-face interaction.
• Requires awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.
