Registered Nurse Preop/PACU (PRN) - Reidsville, GA

Optim Medical Center Tattnall is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse Preop/PACU for our Reidsville, GA location.

Job Supervisory Responsibilities: May participate in supervision of medical assistants, medical administrative assistants, licensed practical nurses, and certified nursing assistants.

General Summary: An exempt position responsible for providing primary care to patients, including assessment, treatment, care planning, and medical care evaluation.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Obtain patient consent, ensure confidentiality, document health history, vital signs, and assess disease condition. Provide care based on guidelines, standards, and regulations.
  • Execute treatments, administer medications, monitor progress, delegate as allowed, consult with other providers, and educate patients and families.
  • Document assessment and intervention data accurately.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams, track quality data, and monitor care management.

Education: RN, completion from an accredited nursing school. BSN preferred.

Experience: Minimum one year of professional nursing experience; clinic experience preferred.

Other Requirements: Current RN license, CPR certification.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of nursing processes, healthcare systems, community resources, documentation requirements, and laws. Skills in time management, crisis intervention, triage, and patient engagement. Ability to analyze options, interpret orders, calculate dosages, and use equipment.

Work Environment: Medical treatment rooms, exposure to hazards, and need for physical activity.
