Job summary

Baptist Health System KY & i is seeking an experienced RN for PreOp and PACU, delivering perioperative care across pre and post-op areas. The role is 40 hours weekly, dayshift, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and patient safety.

The successful candidate will hold Kentucky RN licensure, BCLS, ACLS and PALS, and have at least one year of PACU or ICU experience, with a proven ability to start IVs in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in Kentucky.
• BCLS required.
• ACLS and PALS required.
• Proficient in starting IVs.
• Minimum of one year RN experience in PACU or ICU setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative care in preoperative and PACU areas.
• Coordinate with surgical and nursing teams to ensure patient safety and timely care.
• Assist with rapid assessment and response to changes in patient condition.
• Support high-quality patient care in a fast-paced perioperative environment.
