Job summary

Saint Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City, MO is seeking a PACU Registered Nurse to join our Perianesthesia team. You will provide pre-operative and post-operative care for a variety of procedures, including orthopedics, GYN, urology, plastics, and general surgery.

This is a part-time day position (9:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.) with 12-hour shifts and a 30-minute call back. Applicants should have 1 year of PACU experience, ACLS/BLS, and MO RN licensure (NURSYS).

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in PACU or perioperative nursing.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• MO RN licensure (NURSYS) preferred/required by employer.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care for inpatient and outpatient procedures.
• Utilize the nursing process to plan and deliver care.
• Perform patient care tasks and supervise other patient care staff as assigned.
• Coordinate the plan of care with the health care team to ensure optimal outcomes.

Shift Details

This is PT Day position ( 9am until 9:30 pm) 12 hour shifts. This position takes call. The call back requirement is 30 minutes.
