Job summary
FirstChoice – Trinity Health seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for per diem, part-time assignments across the St. Alphonsus Health System in Boise, ID. Night shifts with premium pay and flexible scheduling to fit your life.
RN license in applicable state required; expect to float across units and locations as needed. Candidates should have 18+ months Med Surg/Tele/PCU experience and current BLS/ACLS/PALS certification.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice/employment.
- Minimum of eighteen (18) months of recent clinical experience for Med Surg, Tele and PCU.
- Minimum two (2) years of recent clinical experience for all remaining specialties including Critical Care, Surgical Services, Maternal Services, Emergency Department and Behavioral Health.
- Credentials required per specialty area (e.g., ACLS, TNCC).
- BLS, ACLS and PALS must be obtained through American Heart Association.
Responsibilities
- Float throughout the hospital and/or multiple locations/regions.
- Apply standard nursing process: Assess, Identify outcomes, Plan, Implement, Evaluate.
- Act independently within license and scope of knowledge/experience.
- Ensure accountability for delegation and decisions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to improve quality and outcomes.
- Adapt to new ideas and manage competing priorities.
