Saint Joseph Health System, part of Trinity Health, is seeking a Pre-Surgical Testing Registered Nurse in Mishawaka, IN. This full-time role supports patient safety and the nursing process from admission through care planning.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Licensure: RN Indiana License.
• CPR certification on hire or within 60 days.
• Experience: 6+ months recent inpatient acute care experience, preferably Pre-Surgical Testing.

• Implement, direct, communicate and document the nursing process per standards and Indiana Nurse Practice Act.
• Serve as patient advocate and maintain a safe environment for patients, visitors and colleagues.

About the job:

As a Pre-Surgical Testing Registered Nurse at Saint Joseph Health System you are responsible for implementing, directing, communicating, and documenting the nursing process in accordance with current established standards of care and the Indiana Nurse Practice Act. Our RNs are patient advocates who provide a safe environment for patients, visitors, and colleagues.

Requirements:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Licensure: RN Indiana License.
• CPR certification on hire or able to attain within 60 days.
• Experience: 6+ months recent prior nursing experience in an inpatient acute care setting, preferably in Pre-Surgical Testing or Surgical Care.
