Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando is hiring registered nurses for full-time day shifts. You will conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop care plans, administer medications safely, and educate patients and families to promote understanding and adherence.

Eligible clinicians can earn salary increases through the Clinical Ladder Program; sign-on bonus up to $15,000 and relocation up to $1,500 are available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Associate's in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's in Nursing is preferred.
• Must be fluent in English (read, verbal and written).
• ACLS, BLS and RN licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments evaluating physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care.
• Administer medications and treatments safely following physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care.
• Coordinate with medical staff to ensure effective communication and teamwork.

Job Description

Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients. Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary. Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions. Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and compliance. Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
