Responsibilities
  • Facilitate, communicate, and collaborate with healthcare team and patients/families to meet physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
  • Promote patient health, well-being, and safety using the nursing process, adhering to standards, guidelines, and state laws.
  • Demonstrate personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values.
Qualifications

Previous PACU/ICU/ED experience required, with a strong clinical background preferred.

Education
  • Associates Degree in Nursing required; Nursing Diploma or endorsement accepted.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Experience
  • One year experience preferred.
Licenses/Certifications
  • RN License required; current state license or valid RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact.
Physical Requirements
  • Medium Work (exert up to 50 lbs occasionally, 20 lbs frequently, 10 lbs constantly).
Schedule & Additional Details

PRN Nights, variable days based on surgical volume and unit needs. Call required: approximately 12 hours per 6-week schedule. Minimum availability: 5 shifts in 6 weeks and 2 holidays per year. Callback radius: 30 minutes. The surgical unit has 17 rooms, including specialized areas and robotic systems, with a caseload of over 5,800 procedures annually. We support a team approach with ongoing education and internal promotions.
