Job summary

Methodist Health System is seeking a registered nurse to deliver professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients within a 54-bed acute care setting in North Texas.

The role requires graduate of an accredited nursing program, Texas license or eligibility, current BLS, and at least 12 months RN experience; shift is 12X3 Day and schedule varies Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification.
• Current license to practice nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so.
• Work experience: 12 months of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital standards and promotes a cooperative work environment through effective communication and teamwork.
• Provides and coordinates nursing care using the nursing process for patients and families.
• Maintains patient safety and therapeutic environments, documenting care accurately and timely.
• Administers medications and IV therapies safely and in accordance with policy.
• Engages in continuous professional growth and development and collaborates with the care team.
