Job summary

HCA HealthONE Centennial in Colorado is seeking a Pre-Op Registered Nurse to join a committed team delivering coordinated patient care. You will oversee pre-surgical/procedural patients and lead collaboration across disciplines to ensure safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multi-state Registered Nurse license.
• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• ACLS certification.
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred.
• One (1) year minimum experience in acute care.
• Prior Pre Op PACU experience Required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct the care of the pre surgical/procedural patient.
• Serve as the primary nurse leading the collaboration of all disciplines for well‑coordinated patient care.
• Oversee and direct the care of assistive personnel, maintaining final accountability for the care given to assigned patients.
• Deliver care, which is based on criteria that is age appropriate and is based on the physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety, and learning needs of the individual patients.
• You may be asked to float to areas other than your assigned service area, and you will perform only those duties for which you have demonstrated competency.
