Job summary

Casa Colina in Pomona, CA seeks a Registered Nurse to coordinate the Pre-Admission Testing phase of surgical services. This role provides age-appropriate care and monitors changes in patients' physiological status under the supervision of the Perioperative Nurse Manager and the Director of Perioperative Services.

The RN will promote teamwork and excellence in patient care, communicating effectively with patients and families.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Licensed RN in California.
• Preop: BLS/ACLS certification upon hire.
• Must complete annual competencies per hospital policy.

Coordinates all activities for the PAT (Pre-Admission Testing) phase of surgical services. Provides age‑specific care and is able to monitor and recognize changes in physiological status. The RN promotes the hospital's mission and vision by assisting in the creation of an environment of teamwork and excellence in meeting the healthcare needs of the community. Reports to the Perioperative Nurse Manager and the Director of Perioperative Services

Position Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing

Experience And Qualifications

• PRE-OP: previous PREOP or Medical-Surgical experience.
• Excellent verbal/written communication and customer service skills
• Demonstrate emotional maturity and ability to function effectively when under stress
• Organizational and prioritizing skills are essential

Licenses/Certificates

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of California
• Preop: Certification in BLS/ACLS upon hire
• Must complete/maintain required annual competencies per hospital policy.

Pay: $45.00-$74.19/hr
