Job summary

Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse - Pre-Admission Testing (PRN-Days) to conduct comprehensive pre-operative assessments for patients scheduled for surgery. You will evaluate medical histories, perform physical exams, and coordinate necessary diagnostic tests.

The role includes educating and supporting patients and their families to ensure they are well-prepared for procedures, while maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• Valid DC RN license required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Minimum 2 years experience in pre-admission testing or perioperative nursing.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.

Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center GW Health is the first new full-service hospital in Washington, DC in more than 20 years, integrating clinical care with existing community providers, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC's), The George Washington University Hospital, and our Urgent Care Center in Ward 8.
