Baylor Surgicare Cityview in Fort Worth, TX, is looking for a Registered Nurse to join our Pre-Admission Testing team. This role focuses on comprehensive assessment, care planning with patients and families, and coordinating with the interprofessional team to ensure smooth preoperative flow.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN school of nursing.
• Active RN license in Texas.
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications.
• Minimum 2 years of surgical or perioperative experience.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care including data collection and assessment to determine care plans.
• Identify interventions to achieve outcomes and implement the plan of care with patient/family and interprofessional team.
• Evaluate progress toward outcomes and document the process.
• Address age-specific and unique needs of the patient/family.

Registered Nurse Pre-Admission Testing at Baylor Surgicare Cityview

The Pre Admissions Nurse is responsible for the teamwork and coordination of nursing care to include the collection and analysis of assessment data in determining nursing diagnosis, identification of expected outcomes and development of plan of care in collaboration with the patient/family and other interdisciplinary team members as appropriate. The Pre Admissions Nurse identifies interventions to attain expected outcomes, implements the interventions identified in the plan of care, evaluates the progress of the patient/family toward attainment of outcomes, and documents the process. This care includes sensitivity to age specific and unique needs of the patient/family.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
• Active RN license in the state
• Current in BLS, ACLS and PALS required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a surgical or perioperative setting
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
