Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Trophy Club is hiring a Full Time Registered Nurse for our Post-Surgical Unit. The RN will plan, direct, organize and implement nursing care for post-surgical patients, ensuring quality and safety in delivery of care in alignment with standards and regulations.

Qualifications include a graduation from an accredited nursing program, current Texas RN license, and BLS/ACLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Texas RN license.
• BLS and ACLS required.
• At least 1 year RN experience in hospital Medical/Surgery or ICU; telemetry experience required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, organize, coordinate and implement nursing care for post-surgical patients.
• Ensure highest quality and safe delivery of patient care; comply with The Joint Commission and all standards.
• Respond to patients presenting with healthcare needs and perform the Medical Screening Exam as delegated.

Registered Nurse Post-Surgical Unit at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Trophy Club:

• The Post-Surgical Unit RN has the responsibility to plan, direct organize, coordinate and implement all nursing care services for the post-surgical patients in a manner suitable to accepted standards of care.
• He/she ensures the highest quality and safe delivery of patient care, maintains compliance with professional nursing, The Joint Commission, and all Federal and State standards of care.
• The Post-Surgical Unit RN is assigned to respond to patients presenting to facility with a healthcare need and will provide the Medical Screening Exam as delegated by the Medical Executive Committee.

Qualifications

Education

• Graduate of accredited school of professional nursing.

Licensure/Certification

• Current Texas RN License
• BLS and ACLS required

Required Experience

• At least one (1) years' experience as an RN in hospital Medical/Surgery or ICU unit preferred.
• Telemetry experience required
