Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse for the full-time 12-hour day shift to support perioperative services, including weekend coverage with premium pay. The role involves implementing and documenting nursing care, maintaining patient safety, and collaborating with the care team.

Requirements include RN licensure in Indiana and BLS, with 1–2 years’ experience in Pre-op, Post-op or PACU. Benefits start on day one and tuition assistance programs are available.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Licensure: RN Indiana License, BLS from AHA
• Experience: RN experience required at least 1-2 years in Pre-op, Post-op or PACU.

Responsibilities

• Implement, direct, communicate and document the nursing process per established standards.
• Advocate for patient safety and provide a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Support perioperative departments on weekends and ensure continuity of care.

Shift: 12 Hour Day Shift

Description: ***Up to $8,700 SO Bonus Weekend position, work every Saturday and Sunday and receive the $7.05 premium pay, plus one other day during the week.

Full-Time 12 hour Days Shift - Hours are 0530-1800-weekend, 0500-1730-weekday.

RN will support the Peri-Op departments on the weekends.

About the job

As a Registered Nurse at Saint Joseph Health System you are responsible for implementing, directing, communicating, and documenting the nursing process in accordance with current established standards of care and the Indiana Nurse Practice Act. Our RNs are patient advocates who provide a safe environment for patients, visitors, and colleagues.
