Job summary

Montage Health seeks a registered nurse in California to plan, direct, assess and provide nursing care per hospital policies. You will orient new staff, precept students, and may assume relief charge nurse duties as assigned while collaborating with nursing leadership and care teams.

Job Description: Position Summary Under the leadership of the department director, assistant director, nursing supervisor, and/or charge nurse, the registered nurse is responsible and accountable for planning directing, assessing and providing nursing care according to the policies and procedures of the hospital and department. Important dimensions of this position consist of quality of care, professional commitment, teamwork, interpersonal skills, safety, good public/customer relations and a broad nursing knowledge. The registered nurse is an experienced nurse who shall orient new staff, precept students, and assume relief charge nurse duty as oriented and assigned.

Experience Must have experience with pain and symptom management interventions. Must also demonstrate excellent observation, assessment, nursing judgment and communication skills.

Preferences include:

• At least one year of current general nursing experience.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.

Licensure/Certifications:

• State of California RN license required.
• American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS required.

Assigned Work Hours: PM Shift 3:00-11:30 p.m. & one weekend per pay period

Position Type: Regular

Pay Range (based on years of applicable experience): $72.83 to $97.40

Hourly Evening Shift Differential: $5.50 Hourly Night Shift Differential: $8.00
