Job summary

Pearl Healthcare in Crystal Lake, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated team. We offer flexible PT evening and night shifts, weekends, and PRN options with shift differentials and a sign-on bonus.

As an RN you will direct day-to-day nursing staff, administer medications, and collaborate with other departments to ensure high-quality resident care. Illinois nursing license is required; CPR certification is preferred.

• Current Illinois Nursing License (Required)
• Current CPR certification (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants and plan the shift’s services and activities.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Maintain safety and confidentiality in patient care and coordinate with inter-departmental staff.
• Develop good rapport with staff and other departments to ensure care needs are met.
• Assist with admission, transfer and discharge of residents as required.

Rate Range:

Up to $40 (hourly)

Responsibilities for Registered Nurse (RN):

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants. Meet with your assigned nursing staff, as well as support personnel, in planning the shift’s services, programs and activities.
• Make written & oral reports/recommendations concerning the activities of the shift as required. Admit, transfer and discharge residents as required. Provide leadership to nursing personnel assigned to your unit/shift.
• Prepare & administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Develop & maintain a good working rapport with inter-departmental personnel, as well as other departments within the facility to ensure that nursing services and activities can be adequately maintained to meet the needs of the residents.
• Monitor your assigned personnel to ensure that they are following established safety regulations in the use of equipment and supplies.
• Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information including protected health information.

Qualifications for Registered Nurse (RN):
