Job summary

Proforma Health Inc. in Naperville, IL is seeking a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit nurse for a full-time, day-shift schedule from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm with rotating weekends and holidays.

This role focuses on family-centered care for a 16-bed PICU and requires an Illinois RN license, ADN or higher, and BLS/PALS certifications. You will deliver expert pediatric nursing, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan patient care, ensure protocol compliance, and support families with education

Qualifications

• Illinois RN license (IL)
• Associate Degree in Nursing or higher; Bachelor's preferred if ADN
• Current BLS certification from AHA
• PALS certification within 3 months of hire
• 2+ years PICU RN experience preferred

Position Overview:

This role involves providing specialized nursing care in a 16-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit with a focus on family-centered care. The nurse will work full-time hours, including rotating weekends and holidays, in Naperville, IL, from 7 am to 7:30 pm.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications & Skills

• Illinois Registered Professional Nurse (RN) license.


• Associate Degree or higher in Nursing; Bachelor’s Degree preferred if Associate Degree is held.


• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.


• Pediatric Life Support (PALS) certification within three months of hire.


• Preferred: 2+ years of Pediatric PICU RN experience.
