Endeavor Health seeks a Registered Nurse for the Medical Observation Unit in Arlington Heights, IL. The role emphasizes patient assessment, care coordination, and education, with day shift 7:00am–7:30pm on-site at Northwest Community Hospital.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate's degree or BSN, Illinois RN license, and CPR certification. Per Diem Level I requires at least 48 hours every 6 weeks, including weekend time if needed.

• Participates in evaluating quality and effectiveness of nursing practice by participating in quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintains professional knowledge in current nursing practice standards, laws and regulations.

Hourly Pay Range:

$37.25 - $57.74 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Position: Registered Nurse - Medical Observation Unit - Days
• Location: Northwest Community Hospital - Arlington Heights, IL
• Per Diem Level I - must be able to work at least 48 hours every 6 weeks and 24 of those hours must be on weekend time if needed.
• Hours: 7:00am - 7:30pm

What you will do:

• Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers.
• Coordinates patient plan of care to assure interventions are consistent, safe, timely and appropriate.
• Communicates clearly and effectively with all customers, in person, on the phone and in writing.

What you will need:

• Education: Successful completion of an Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited school of nursing, required.
• License: Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Illinois, required.
• Certification: Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association, required.
