Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Rahway's Emergency Department serves over 32,000 patients annually, providing expert care for various medical emergencies, including cardiac, neurologic, and orthopedic conditions. As a Primary Stroke Center with 24/7 telemedicine coverage, our renovated facility offers state-of-the-art services to ensure prompt treatment. Fast Track services, staffed by emergency-trained personnel, efficiently manage minor emergencies, with access to specialty services if needed. We provide comprehensive stroke care, including physical, occupational, speech, and swallowing services, along with emergency cardiac interventions such as stenting in our cardiac cath lab. With 23 patient bays, wireless bedside registration, and advanced radiology services, our department prioritizes patient comfort and convenience, offering complimentary television and Wi-Fi in each treatment bay and a comfortable waiting area for family members with free parking available.

To be considered for this RN opportunity, you must hold an active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing and a current American Heart Association BLS certification, plus ACLS and PALS certifications. A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is strongly preferred, as is prior patient care experience and comfort with electronic medical record systems (EMR) like EPIC.
